In The Loss Of Your Dad

We extend our heart-felt Sympathy to you
It is not easy to give up a loving Dad
In your childhood, if he heard you cry
He rushed to comfort and make you glad.

He taught you the Love of Jesus
He taught you to pray, sing and obey
Then God called for him just before suppertime
His Spirit took its flight to Eternal Day.

Now he has seen Jesus, the One he loved
He had served Him for many years
He sings with the Angels in Heaven
God will Comfort and dry your tears.

Your heart aches as if it will break
As Precious Memories of his life unfold
You will be together again some Glorious day
To walk with him on streets of Gold.

Enjoy every sunset that you see
Even though clouds of Sorrow make eyes dim
There's beauty in the sky for you to enjoy
Think of Heaven and then think of him.
