Fat and Happy Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You, that intend for all people,
no matter what their weight
to be happy and to rejoice in the gift of life
I know, However,
That being very heavy is a great burden,
that causes all kinds of practical hassles,
not to mention myriad health risks
I want to take to heart these truths, Lord.
Help me to think correctly about my morbid obesity
and to always make matters of health a priority
Today I pray for obese women everywhere,
who feel shunned or unloved,
Who are unhappy, even miserable because of their weight
Send all of us help, Dear Lord.
May we find our way to freedom !
Thank You that you love me no matter what my weight
Thank You that with your help,
I can learn to eat and live in a way
that pleases me as much as it pleases you
